New Humanist

A quarterly magazine of ideas, science and culture, New Humanist stands for free thought in an age of extremes. Published since 1885, we bring together expert voices and quality journalism to illuminate our turbulent times – from climate and technology to faith, ideology and the struggle for equal rights. We produce a beautiful colour magazine once every three months full of long-form features, reportage and reviews – as well as cartoons, columns and a cryptic crossword
Past and present contributors include Samira Ahmed, Michael Rosen, Jim Al-Khalili, Jonathan Rée, Reni Eddo-Lodge, Mona Eltahawy, Philip Pullman, Kenan Malik, Paul Gilroy, Amartya Sen, Richard Dawkins, AJ Ayer, Robert Graves, Philip Larkin, Somerset Maugham, Philip Larkin, Iris Murdoch, Karl Popper, Bertrand Russell, George Bernard Shaw, AJP Taylor, Bernard Williams and HG Wells.
