Antoni Simon

is Professor of Modern History at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He is the editor of the Diccionari d’historiografia catalana (Enciclopèdia Catalana, 2003). Further publications include: Els orígens històrics de la Revolució Catalana de 1640 (PAM, 1999); and Construccions polítiques i identitats nacionals. Catalunya i els orígens de l’estat modern espanyol (PAM, 2005).
