Call for articles: European Young Reporter Award 2023

Eurozine once again joins Reporters d’Espoirs in their call for articles: The European Young Reporter Award encourages the practice of the French language and solutions journalism on a European scale. Dedicated to all young people aged 15 to 30, it supports journalistic quality reporting, covering issues and initiatives that contribute to an inspiring, solidary and sustainable society. Six reports will be recognized, awarded with 10,000€ in total.

Requirements:

• The report must be between 5 to 10 pages or 7,500 to 15,000 characters.

• It should be angled at solutions journalism  (look up the methodology behind solutions journalism here).

• It should contain a strong European dimension – for example with regard to the scale of the issue or of the addressed response, or with regard to the potential of the initiative to spread to other countries in Europe.

• It has not been published or has been published after the 1 September 2022 (in which case you must update your data).
