René Höltschi

was born 1959 in St. Gallen, Switzerland. Since 1988 working for Neue Zürcher Zeitung. 1990-91 correspondent for economic matters in Paris, from 1991-1999 correspondent for Central and Eastern Europe in Vienna. Since 1999 eu correspondent in Brussels. He has published various books and articles on economy and poltics.
