Nino Doborjginidze

Georgian philologist. She earned her doctorate in Linguistics in 1988. She held research fellowships at the Göttingen Academy of Sciences and the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, and conducted research at several German universities and at the historical archives of Propaganda Fide in Italy. Since 2006, she has worked at Ilia State University, becoming Full Professor in 2010, Vice-Rector for Research (2017–2021), and has served as Rector since 2022 to the present.
