Dalia Leinarte

is professor of history and director of the Gender Studies Centre at Vilnius University. Her most recent book is Adopting and Remembering Soviet Reality. Life Stories of Lithuanian Women, 1945-1970. She is Lithuanian candidate to the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women (UN CEDAW) for the term 2013-2016.
