Assistant professor of British Cultural Studies at TU Dortmund University, Germany. He was a fellow of the Stuart Hall Foundation in 2016- 2019. His latest book, Spectres of Pessimism: A Cultural Logic of the Worst, features discussions of Stuart Hall’s work on Gramscian conjunctural analysis.
