László Garaczi

is a Hungarian writer and translator born in 1956 in Budapest. A freelance writer and translator since 1982, Garaczi is the winner of various prizes including a George Soros Fellowship, the József Attila Prize, and the Palládium Prize. His books in English translation include Lemur, Who Are You? and Plastic, a collection of short stories.
