Jens Siegert

studied political science, sociology and economics in Marburg, Germany. He then worked as freelance journalist in Cologne, and from 1993 as a correspondent in Russia. From 1999 to 2015 he headed the country office of the Heinrich Böll Foundation in Moscow. Siegert has written numerous publications on Russian domestic and foreign policy and regularly blogs @ http://russland.boellblog.org.
