Erik Oddvar Eriksen

is the Director of the ARENA Centre for European Studies and Professor of Political Science at the University of Oslo. His research interests include political theory, public policy, European integration, and legitimacy and democracy in the EU. He is co-author with John Erik Fossum of The European Union’s Non-members: Independence Under Hegemony? (Routledge, 2015), the author of The Unfinished Democratization of Europe (Oxford University Press, 2009), and co-editor with John Erik Fossum of Rethinking Democracy and the European Union (Routledge, 2012).
