Vagant

Vagant is a journal about literature, art, film and ideas, established in 1988. The print issue is published four times a year, with an online edition updated on a weekly basis.

Each issue of Vagant consists of in-depth essays, reviews, interviews and a debate section. Most issues feature a thematic section, where art and literature is put in conjunction with a wide variety of current phenomena, such as fanaticism (1/2015), the Anthropocene thesis (3/2014) and the resort (4/2014).

In 2013, Vagant was named Magazine Of The Year by Norsk Tidsskriftforening (The Norwegian Association of Cultural Journals). Vagant was also awarded Språkprisen, an annual prize for excellent use of the Norwegian language, by Norsk Språkråd (The Norwegian Language Council) in 2014.

Vagant‘s headquarters are in Berlin, Germany. The magazine has been published by Cappelen Damm since 2005.

Vagants hovedkvarter ligger i Berlin. Siden 2005 utgis bladet av Cappelen Damm.
