Thomas Piketty

is a French economist and director of studies at the École des hautes études en sciences sociales (EHESS). He is also professor at the Paris School of Economics. Piketty is author of Capital in the Twenty-First Century (Harvard University Press, 2013), first published as Le Capital au XXIe siècle (Éditions du Seuil, 2013).
