
It is a non-governmental, independent organization addressing problems of philosophy, politics and culture. Its main areas of activity are inter-ethnic relations, fractures of civilization, European identity and contemporary political discourse. The ongoing seminar "Dialogue across frontiers" examines cultural and political issues of frontier zones, is one of the basic activities of the journal.
At the same time, the organization is involved in publishing: it brings out a quarterly Independent cultural magazine Ji, and books by prominent researchers in Ukrainian politics and culture. The Chairman of the organization and the editor-in-chief of the journal is Mr. Taras Wozniak, a Lviv-based cultural and political scientist.
