Book reviews

The issue features images of Estonia's exposition at the Venice Biennal of Architecture, the Gas Pipeline, created by architects Maarja Kask and Ralf Lõoke and freelance artist Neeme Külm. The 63 m long stretch of pipeline, conceived in response to the much debated Baltic Sea pipeline project, highlights -- and questions -- the looming presence of infrastructure elements in our environment and the increasing role of political decisions in shaping it.
