Polar goes digital-only

After more than 12 years in print, Eurozine partner journal polar will switch to a digital-only format following publication of the current issue, number 23.

polar will continue independently and in revised form as a free digital edition on its website. The editors stress that they have taken this step not because they think the digital format is a ‘panacea’; rather because they don’t have the resources at the moment to continue with a publishing project on the current scale. They thank their publisher Campus Verlag for its strong cooperation; the digital edition of polar will also be available on campus.de free of charge.

The editors of polar write: ‘It seems like yesterday when it all started: polar being a bridge between political practice and art. A constant exchange, a creative tension. This creative and productive tension is more in demand today than ever before. And that’s why the fire is still burning. We stay together.’
