Alla Yaroshinskaya
(b.1953 in the Zhitomir region of Ukraine) is a journalist, politician, and author. She was also a member of the Supreme Soviet and advisor to Boris Yeltsin.
She is author or co-author of a dozen books and over 700 articles. In 1992 she received an Alternative Nobel Prize and in 1998 she was named one of "100 heroines of the twentieth century"Eurozine Articles
