Dirk Tänzler is coordinator of the international research-project "Crime and Culture" within the Sixth Framework Programme of the European Commission. He was Co-director of the research-project "Theatrale Inszenierungen politischen Handelns in den Medien" as part of the DFG-Schwerpunktprogramm "Theatralität" at the University of Konstanz, 1999-2003.
