Semih Poroy

b.1954) is a Turkish cartoonist. A gradute from the Scool of Law at the University of Istanbul, Poroy started to publish cartoons in 1974, when his signature first appeared in the popular comic magazine Akbaba. Since 1977, he has been drawing for the oldest Turkish daily in circulation, Cumhuriyet. His “cartoonist’s comment” appears every month in Varlik.
