During the afternoon of Sunday 13 October, Eurozine, in cooperation with La Revue des Livres (RdL), will host a podium discussion on the future of the EU. Eurozine's editor in chief Carl Henrik Fredriksson will be joined by Jérôme Vidal, director of RdL, and the economist Cédric Durand. The panellists will discuss how the 2008 financial crisis has prompted a reassessment of neoliberalism, forcing commentators to stop wearily pitting European federalism against national sovereignty -- and assess the grounds upon which radical democratic politics might yet flourish in the wake of the social and economic upheaval accompanying recent shifts in contemporary capitalism.QUELLE FIN POUR L'EUROPE?
