The venerable and visually expressive Finnish literary magazine Nuori Voima returns to the Eurozine network with a new look and a new outfit headed up by Martti-Tapio Kuuskoski. Contributors include writers, critics, translators, philosophers and scholars of all stripes.Each of the five issues published every year focuses on a chosen theme and incorporates literary forms ranging from poetry to short stories as well as commentary and criticism. The journal's poetry competitions generate further content. Nuori Voima is accompanied by a biannual supplement, Kritiikki: "At more than 100 pages per issue, Kritiikki is one of the most in-depth publications of literary criticism in Finland, with high-quality reviews, analyses and essays on the best of modern literature, whether originally in Finnish or translated into Finnish."
