The killing fields of inequality

The yoga in communism
The Romanian political scientist on the interpretation of the Romanian "yoga movement" in the communist period. According to the accepted narrative the vindicatory sanction started in1982, and it was an action against "deviating" intellectuals. Andreescu firstly focuses on the general validity of this narrative of intellectual anti-communism as the explanation of the strikes at the very source of communism. Secondly, he points out that the yoga-movement may have been regarded by the party as a potential counter-culture of existential authenticity.
