Summary of du 11/12 – 2007/2008
"du" 782 Liftboy, der. Ein Alphabet des Verschwindens
There are so many things which are disappearing or go missing. For example: Bakelite, the German Democratic Republic or the handwritten letter. Not to mention neck pouches, self recorded tapes or gentlemen. In December "du" releases a special issue which reminds us of all the disremembered things: Buttons with political statements, aunts, frost patterns, the Malaga grape or the German "Leberwurstbrot". The last issue of the current editorial staff is a corporate work of all "du" authors of the last years. Amongst others: Erika Achermann, Maike Albath, Martin Alioth, Zsusza Bánk, Mathias Bölinger, Hans Richard Brittnacher, Iso Camartin, Phuong Duong, Julia Franck, Katharina Hacker, Elke Heidenreich, Thomas Hettche, Andrea Köhler, Rebekka Kricheldorf, Hugo Loetscher, Martin Lüdke, Klaus März, Peter von Matt, Rolf Michaelis, Manfred Papst, Andreas Platthaus, Dietmar Polaczek, Martin Rasper, Michael Roes, Viola Roggenkamp, Beate Rothmeier, Jana Scheerer, Elke Schmitter, Lutz Seiler, Sibylle Severus, Tilman Spreckelsen, Marlene Streeruwitz, Rudi Thiessen, Wolfgang Ullrich, Roger Willemsen, Juli Zeh – and many others.
