O tem, kar je, in o tem, kar še bo.Uvod v tematsko številko o mladi slovenski dramatiki


Boj proti sušnemu stanju na polju izvirne slovenske dramatike poteka na več frontah. Skoki nad povprečje so redki, običajno vezani na subjektivni avtorski naboj – pri čemer bi utegnili izgovor za šibko produktivnost iskati v pogojih časa, ki da obdajajo ustvarjalce s preveliko udobnostjo in manjšajo njihovo zmožnost introspekcije. Toda to je le del problema. Pričujoča številka Dialogov ne poskuša formulirati odgovorov o problemskih vozlih slovenskega dramskega pisanja. Nakazati želi vitalne točke, konkretne pisave in imena, za katera se zdi, da bodo "gradila prihodnost" oziroma že gradijo gledališko sedanjost kljub temu, da se odrske realizacije njihovih del bodisi odvijajo na vzporednih odrih ali pa institucija njihovega potenciala in pristopa ne sprejme pod streho. Empirija potrjuje kvalitetno domačo dramo kot sporadičen podnebni pojav, pri čemer pa izbor tekmovalnih predstav za bližnje Borštnikovo srečanje razkriva zgodbo, po kateri izvirna drama in gledališče razmeroma zadovoljivo živita z roko v roki. Če so katastrofični scenariji odveč, dokler je domač dramski glas prisoten v odrski produkciji, naj bi bil vtis krize potemtakem varljiv. (Pa je res?)

Po Miletu Korunu je drugi nosilec prezračevalnih impulzov in celostne misli o slovenski dramatiki in gledališču v 20. stoletju Dušan Jovanović, tudi potentno dramatiško pero, čeprav v preskokih vitalnega duha že razmeroma upehan. Na tej točki se vprašajmo: kaj ponuja današnja dramska produkcija takega, kar ne bi moglo biti napisano tudi pred, denimo, dvajsetimi leti? Kaj ločuje novo slovensko dramo od njene predhodnice, v čem je njeno zavedanje aktualnega časa, v čem je drugačna estetska senzibilnost? Medtem ko so besedila angleškega trenda "in-yer-face" gledališča v devetdesetih Aleksu Sierzu pandan temu, kar je v petdesetih prinesla drama absurda, govorimo na polju slovenske dramatike v drugih ločnicah in kategorijah. Osnovni značaj sodobne drame na Slovenskem ne zgrabi gledalca za ovratnik in ga ne stresa. Ko presprašuje moralne norme, je ta pisava redko provokativna, ne poskuša se konfrontirati s pljunkom v obraz, šokantnost v njej ne kotira visoko. V tem tudi dramatiko določa nacionalni značajski habitus, nekakšen slovenski Zeitgeist, ki je raje manj kot bolj eksperimentalno naravnan. V upoštevanju stilnega prekurzorstva Artauda, Jarryja, Ionesca je šel nemara najdlje Jože Javoršek v petdesetih in šestdesetih letih, a ni našel (pa tudi iskal ne) ustreznega odrskega realizatorja svojih del. Velja prepričanje, da je moč v posrednosti, s katero je mogoče zajemati stvarnost bolj polno – začetek tega principa šifriranosti posredovanega pomena pa sega v šestdeseta leta prejšnjega stoletja, ki po kvantiteti sprožene visoko profilirane dramske pisave (Smole, Kozak, Zajc, Strniša) še niso bila presežena.

Po zaslugi PreGleja, iniciative Gledališča Glej, je podoba slovenskega dramskega pisanja prizorišče bolj številčne eksplozivnosti od maja 2005.

Pričujoči izbor besedil želi videti mimo omejujočih presoj (in njihove začasnosti) ter implicira možnosti, ki jih besedila odpirajo uprizoritvenim posegom kot svojemu osrednjemu eksistenčnemu modusu. Divji vzhod Iztoka Lovrića, uprizorjen januarja 2005 v ljubljanskem Gleju, zaznava sočasne simptome skoz komiko. Reykjavik je drugo besedilo Martine Šiler (prva nagrada na natečaju Mlade dramatike 2002 na Ptuju!), ki razširja temo generacijskega iskanja mladih, zaprtih v prostoru, kjer ni kam pripeti lastne identitete in je razloka med realnim, utopičnim in fingiranim ena temeljnih eksistencialnih dilem (profesionalna gledališča so se besedilu ognila). Matjaž Briški v Komiki zla nadaljuje v smeri igre Križ, Grumove nagrajenke leta 2005, ki ji uprizoritvene zvezde ne kažejo posebej naklonjene prihodnosti (glej zgovorno kontekstualizirani esej Tarasa Kermaunerja). Tem "celovečernim" besedilom se pridružujeta dve, nastali v PreGlejevi "delavnici", kjer zaenkrat prevladujejo vsebinsko in oblikovno razmeroma tradicionalno zasnovani dramski poskusi, vaje v slogu. Ob eksaktno izpisanih Nogavicah Simone Semenič je tu izjema Beli dež Saše Rakef, ki lirizira dramsko situacijo, uvaja vtis Eliotove "začasne ločenosti od dejanja" in niz konotativnih pomenov.

PreGlejevi avtorji so brez dvoma zgodbe v nastajanju. Verjeti gre, da se njihov intelektualni domet skoz PreGlej širi navzven in v globino. Zdi pa se, da PreGlej na tej točki zlagoma terja prehod v drugo prestavo, bolj natančno konceptualizacijo svoje dejavnosti (glej prispevek Gašperja Trohe, ki gleda naprej oziroma onkraj danega stanja stvari v sodobni slovenski dramatiki in gledališču). Žirija na natečaju Mlada dramatika 2002 je v sklepni besedi opozorila na zaskrbljujoče boren izbor dramskih tem in motivov: "Zdi se, da se vse, kar vznemirja mlade ljudi, giblje v trikotniku popreproščene seksualne patologije, zastarelih dnevnopolitičnih dogajanj in kavarniškega modrovanja o teh dveh temah."

Med drugim naj bi šlo za uzaveščenje lastne pozicije in smiselnosti temeljev moderne stvarnosti, ki ji je težko določiti orientabilno sliko, razlogov za ustvarjanje gledališča sredi globalnovaškega kapitalizma, ki z lumpenutemeljitvami lomasti čez kulturo. Ne bi škodilo niti ubesedenje in zložno zrušenje teh in onih tabujev, ki držijo slovensko družbo v krču in življenjsko prakso zakrknjeno. Vse to pa so le nakazane možnosti. Teorija mehke sorte. Kot se zdi, je za umetniško prepričljiv odrski izid potrebno to – pa tudi tisto nekaj več.
